Vaginal Infections Screening Kit

Vagisil® Screening Kit for Vaginal Infections

Not every infection is a yeast infection. 2 out of 3 women misdiagnose. Test to help you know.

Many women who think they have a yeast infection don't actually have one. In fact, two out of three women misdiagnose themselves.

If you suffer from vaginal itching, burning, unusual odor or discharge, you may have a yeast infection. However, these symptoms may mean you have something else. Different vaginal infections can sometimes cause similar symptoms.

An easy well to tell if you may have a yeast infection is to use the in-home Vagisil Screening kit. It tests for vaginal infections by measuring your vaginal pH — one of the criteria medical professionals use in diagnosing vaginal infections.

The Vagisil® Screening Kit is for women with symptoms of unusual discharge, unpleasant odor, itching or burning. The Vagisil® Screening Kit comes with two pH wands, detailed instructions and a pH guide. Finding out your pH can help you know if you might have a yeast infection or another type of vaginal infection that requires a doctor's visit.

The Vagisil® Screening Kit is:

  • Easy to use
  • Provides fast results
  • Clinically tested
  • Helps a woman decide if she needs to visit a medical professional.

How to read your pH level

To take your vaginal pH, follow the instructions inside the Vagisil® Screening Kit box. A copy of the package insert is provided here:

Under a bright light (not fluorescent) or daylight, compare the color of the pH paper on the wand to the colors on the Guide.

Slide the wand back and forth until you find the color on the chart that matches the pH paper on your wand.
